This course introduces core concepts that will guide us in developing our self-confidence and self-esteem, two essential components of overall wellbeing. We will assess our current state, identify negative beliefs, and develop strategies to replace these with empowering, positive ones. This will include engaging activities, assignments, discussion forums for interactivity, and various resources such as books, podcasts, TED talks, and mobile apps. Additionally, we will explore practical tactics to recognize and overcome limiting beliefs, combat negative self-talk, and establish positive self-perception. By the end of the course, we will be able to have: * A foundational understanding of self-confidence and self-esteem * Measurable goals for building each concept * Action plans and resources to help us increase our level of confidence and self-esteem *The ability to identify and replace negative self-talk with positive, empowering beliefs.
